The Lytton School of Dance was formed by Judith Lathbury and her mother in 1962, with the aim of teaching the art of dance in a friendly, happy and social environment. Judith is still the principal of the school to this day and is now assisted by her son Richard.
Judith is a qualified teacher and life member of the IDTA (International Dance Teachers Association) and is also a qualified teacher with the MASD (Midland Academy of Stage Dancing.)
Richard is a qualified associate member of the IDTA and is also a qualified teacher with the MASD at fellowship level.
Dance classes are held weekly in Penn, Wolverhampton and in Coven and Wombourne in Staffordshire. There are various types of dance taught to students from the age of 3 years through to adult; these include Tap, Ballet, Acrobatic, Disco, Musical Comedy and Stage Dancing.
Each year medal tests and dancing examinations are held prior to the annual dancing show which is held at the Mill Theatre in Sedgley.

Judith is the principal of the dance school with over 55 years of teaching experience.

Richard Howell IDTA MASD
Richard assists his Mother, Judith in running Lytton School of Dance.
Richard has danced since the age of 3. He loves working on technique with students of all ages and loves nothing more than setting challenging routines for the yearly shows.
